Magic can be enjoyed in many forms - cards, props, levitation, disappearances, gags, etc. I strive to perform a variety of fun and unique magic tricks so your child and guests can have an optimal magical experience. Card Magic & Mentalism
Card magic is the very essence of a great magical performance. There is just nothing like picking a random card, having it shuffled into a deck, and then having it conjured right out of the deck. Misdirection, sleight of hand, and transformation all go into a great card trick. While not all card tricks are right for children, there are some that they absolutely love and are amazed by. I like to incorporate only the most child friendly card tricks into my routine.
Magical Props & Gags
Every good magic show for kids includes laugh inducing props and gags. Kids learn best using visual cues, and the same goes for magic. Card magic is fantastic, but too much of it can bore children. Using sponge balls, balloons, magic boxes, and magical art, any kid will be hard pressed to turn their eyes away. It becomes even more entertaining when the kids are involved in the routine, and I am a firm believer in involving the audience in my routine (with special attention given to the birthday child!).
MAgic Lessons
Maybe your child would rather learn how to entertain than be entertained? If that is the case, I offer magic lessons for your child and his or her friends. A magician’s starter kit will be provided to each child which contains several magical tools (such as a deck of cards and sponge balls), and I will instruct the children in how to use them. Before you know it, you’ll have an up and coming magician on your hands! This option is best for older kids who will have an easier time comprehending and performing these entry level magic tricks.
Funny Hats & Costumes
Laughter can make every situation a brighter one. That is why I incorporate both funny hats and costumes into my act. I’ll call your child up to assist me in a trick, but not before I make sure they are appropriately dressed to be a wizard or magical unicorn - enter the funny hats and costumes. Costumes for boys, girls, and adults can turn a good magic show into an amazing magic show!
Levitation
The art of making something float in thin air is a timeless magic trick. Most magic tricks show you one thing and then produce another thing, but levitation delivers what is promised at the outset. No surprise endings, no magic transformations, just the plain and pure honesty of what the audience sees right in front of themselves. Most people watch a magic show and know magic isn’t real, but after watching a high quality levitation act, their skepticism will disappear. Your child and guests will absolutely love what they see!
Magical Party Favors
Kids love to laugh and have fun, and the party favors I provide will only widen their smiles further. At the beginning of my show I will hand out something magical to each child so they can help me perform my act. Throughout the show there are moments when I will ask audience members to come up, and some of these assistants will get an extra take home goody. Every kid gets to participate, and for birthday parties, the birthday boy or girl will get their own magical goody bag! I can even provide additional goody bags for all your guests upon request.
